It was a rare treat to have Shihan Carl Marriott, National Chief Instructor of KUA travel from Western Australia for a 2 day seminar on the 23rd and 24th of October 2004.
The sessions lasted for 3 hours each day and we knew it was going to be a good workout as soon as we started the warm-up.
Shihan Carl is amazingly agile and never seems to tire, only stopping to give us a break I'm sure.
His abdominal workout at the start set off a few moans and groans in the class.
The classes were fast paced, covering everything from Kumite to Kata with Shihan always making sure correct form was adhered to.
